I can’t believe it’s been five months since I visited South Africa. It may take a life time to post everything I saw there. And it just keeps getting better.
Downstream
On our way to Kruger National Park Joan introduced me to many gorgeous landscapes like God’s Window and Bourkes Luck Potholes on the same day we saw these waterfalls, and there’s still more.
Local vendors with tablecloths and more
Located on the eastern transvaal escarpment, Berlyn Falls drops an impressive 147 feet (45 m).
Wish I could have gone with you! That was the longest month of my life so far… Well maybe the month before my 16th birthday, waiting to get my drivers license was just a little longer… 🙂
I can just imagine a dip in that cool deep water on a hot Lowveld summers day.
Hi Gaelyn, Love that first shot of the waterfall where you can see it start as a smallish stream and then unfurl over the rocks. I also like the banner-like tablecloths. What a trip you had!
Hi Gaelyn;) you've shown me a place I never knew existed. Thanks for posting Berlyn Falls. Have a wonderful weekend. (((Hugs))) Jo
I love waterfalls, I could spend my lifetime visiting them. Great shots, so very scenic.
South Africa has long been on my list of places I want to visit. Your photos rekindle the desire. Beautiful.
That waterfall is a gem.
This looks familair. I might have been here before. 🙂 You got some wonderful shots of it Gaelyn. Poor Mike, sounds like he might have missed you? 🙂
You're activating my travel bug. I want it to be December so I can go to India again…love those tablecloths. Did you buy one?
You are pulling at my heart strings again….. Diane
Once again the Traveler within me has been beckoned. Sigh. What a lovely journey you had!
Has it been that long already?
I can't believe its 5 months already. Feels like the other day.
